Before founding Aspiration Energy, Mr. Thirumalai co-founded Aspire Systems and currently serves as one of its Directors of the Board. Prior to this assignment, he was President, US operations for Aspire Systems, and played a part in getting Aspire Systems to be a successful and well recognized Outsourced Product Development company.

Bhoo is a firm believer that "success is a matter of willingness to succeed and to keep at it!". His 16+ years in Aspire has enabled him to interact with hundreds of entrepreneurs. He is aware of the strategies, growth pains, challenges, risks and success-formulas – both from a product development perspective and a general management perspective of building and scaling a new venture. This gives him a unique edge in helping Aspiration garner market-share in the innovative solar energy space.

He holds Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry Engineering College, India & MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Illinois, USA.

Mr. Thirumalai is also Certified PV Professional accredited by SEI (Solar Energy Institute), USA.
